Add articles from wherever you read them

  • On a computer

Cast this page, the browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox, sends the page you're reading, including pages you're signed in to. It comes with a paid plan.

  • On an Android phone

Add the site to your home screen, then share an article to Askwho Casts from any app's share menu.

  • Anywhere else

Paste the link into your Library.

  • Publications you read every week

With a plan, Following makes their new free posts into episodes on their own, within limits you set.

What you'll hear

The whole article, not a summary. A narrator reads it, and the people it quotes get voices of their own.

Footnotes are read as asides where they're marked, and charts, images and code are described aloud in one to three sentences each. Numbers, dates and abbreviations are read the way a person would say them.

Your podcast app, or the site

Your feed has its own private address. Add it to Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, AntennaPod, Podcast Addict and most other podcast apps. Spotify and YouTube Music can't add private feeds.

Every episode also plays on the site, with a read-along that lights each line as it's spoken.
