A read-it-later list that reads to you

Pocket closed in July 2025. If you saved articles there to read later, save them here instead and listen when you have the time: on a walk, on the train, while you cook. Each one becomes an episode in your own private podcast feed.

Your first article is free, up to 30 minutes. No card needed.

Save it as you find it

  • On a computer

Press Cast this page in your browser's toolbar. The extension, for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox, sends the page you're reading, including pages you're signed in to. It comes with a paid plan.

  • On an Android phone

Add the site to your home screen, then share an article to Askwho Casts from any app's share menu.

  • Anywhere

Paste the link into your Library.

Saving an article makes it into an episode, so each one shows its running time and price before it's made.

Listen later, wherever you are

Your saved articles wait in your private podcast feed, and your podcast app can download them to play offline. Add the feed to Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, AntennaPod, Podcast Addict and most other podcast apps. Spotify and YouTube Music can't add private feeds.

Or listen on the site, with a read-along that lights each line as it's spoken, adjustable speed, bookmarks and a sleep timer.

The whole article, kept

You hear the whole article, not a summary: footnotes are read as asides, and charts, images and code are described aloud.

Every episode you make stays in your feed. If you cancel your plan, your feed keeps playing everything you made.

Newsletters you read every week

With a plan, Following makes a Substack's or another publication's new free posts into episodes on their own, within limits you set.

After that, plans start at $9 a month for 200 credits. One credit is about one minute of finished audio, and you see the exact price before you make anything.
